Equipment built on campus that has a life expectancy of over one year and a value of $5,000 or more should be identified on an Equipment Fabrication eDoc. The department that built the equipment or had the equipment built should complete and submit the Equipment Fabrication eDoc in the Kuali Financial System (KFS). This eDoc will create an asset record and notify the Inventory Control Specialist to tag the equipment, which allows our office to properly account and insure the asset.
